DE-bunking the NON - flood view
Debunking the non-flood view
- This blog is going to clearly present the "creation model" of the world wide flood. I refer to it as "debunking" because of the fact that I believe that when you follow the expected outcome from the flood, it better explains things like; ice age, dinosaurs, glaciers, etc. And the current evolutionists model explanation does not give the events that we know to occur.
Separating the "expanse" (Gen. 1:6 -7)
"Then God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the water! Let it be for separating water from water." So God made the expanse and it separated the water that was below the expanse from the water that was over the expanse. And it happened so."
Flood Point # 1 (what was the expanse)
If the water that covered the earth originally was divided, with a "hydrosphere" as I like to call it. What would be the condition of the earth in that environment? Well, think about it; it would protect the earth from dangerous UV waves, resulting in a tropical climate everywhere all the time. Plants and animals would be larger, and everything would live longer.....WELL, that sounds just like the "pre-historic" period of evolution. It is exactly how the pre-flood world is described......And evolutionists, explain this period as a time of volcanic instability, in which the dinosaurs lived in. The only thing is if you followed their logic, to see what the condition of things would be, and you would see is that the air would be too toxic for any life....but let's just ignore all of that.
Flood Point # 2 (the collapse of the expanse) Gen. 7:10 - 12
We read, "...all the water sources of the great deep burst open, and the windows of the sky were opened. Then there was rain upon the land 40 days and 40 nights." It says that it was raining for seven days before Noah and his family entered the ark, allowing water to come on land and start to flood. While the flood water rose, the ark was lifter and it floated on the water. NOW..imagine, if the water sources of the great deep burst open, (which we believe is volcanic eruptions bringing hot water and lava from under the sea.) . What would be the outcome...WELL..the churning of the waters of the deep, would cause sediment movement in a massive scale. AND, with the windows of the sky were to open, (the collapse of the expanse)..remember the volcanic explosions under the sea is what we all agree scientifically caused the current mountains today. So, at the time of the flood, the geography would have been more moderate, and level, which would allow the water to completely cover the earth.
I want to take time here to say that many atheists will say to us in apologetics, "well God killed"...but let me remind you that God created mankind to fellowship with Him. Mankind turned away from God and toward sin. God being a just and righteous God cannot look upon sin. So, God has to at some point destroy sin. BUT, the good news is that He creates a way of escape...In Noah's day He saved through a wooden ark, and today He saves through a wooden cross. Yeshua, (Jesus) said, "I am the way the truth and the Life, no one comes to the father except through me."

Flood Point # 3 (Covering of the Earth) . Gen 7:24
In Gen. 7:24 it states, "The waters over powered the land for 150 days." NOW, looking back to verse 12 where it took 40 days for the earth to be covered. What do you think the animals would be doing? They of course would beheading to higher ground to escape the waters, and if the under water volcanic activity was causing mass sedimental movement, then eventually those animals would find themselves in mass graves....Just like we find in science today. Verse 21 says "all flesh perished." Verse 23 says "they were wiped out off the land."
ALSO, we would expect to see massive sedimental layers calmly layered on the continents, which is exactly what we find at the grand canyon, and in satellite images of the continents.
We would expect to see if this happened, to see marine and land animal fossils everywhere; mountain tops to deserts to jungles to everywhere...and that is exactly what we see.

Flood Point # 4 (What happened to the Dinosaurs) Job 40: 15 - 41: 26
Clearly, not all dinosaurs perished in the flood. Many in the church used to teach that dinosaurs were not real, however, there have been too many fascinating finds of dinosaurs to argue against them. So, were there dinosaurs, yes. Did they perish in the flood, no. At least not all of them, SO, what happened. In the book of Job, which is the oldest book in the bible, written sometime after the flood. discusses two different kinds of dinosaurs; Behemoth (land dinosaur) and Leviathan (Sea dinosaur).
Behemoth- Is described as, "Look now at Behemoth, which I made along with you. He eats grass like an ox. Now look at his strength in his loins, and his power in the muscles of his belly. He stiffens his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together. His bones are tubes of bronze; His libs like rods of iron. He is first among the ways of God, Let his maker draw near with His sword! For the mountains bring him food, and all the wild animals play there. Under the lotus plants he lies down, in the secrecy of the reeds and marsh. The lotuses conceal him in their shade; the willows of the brook surround him. If the river rages, he is not alarmed. He is secure, even though the Jordan surges against his mouth." (Job 40:15 - 23) TLV. Now, many evolutionists will dismiss Behemoth as an"elephant", which is fascinating to me since they want to broadcast dinosaurs, but refutes them in scripture. Clearly, This was a huge animal, with a tail the size and strength of a cedar tree. Powerful to where he was not even alarmed at the great Jordan as he drank from it.
Now look again at the beginning of this passage, we read that this animal was created along with us. So, did dinosaurs die prior to mankind, of course not. Also, I believe that those that survived the flood, as the earth fell into the "ice age", slowly died off because they could not adapt. This explains stories of dragons in China, and in western cultures. Maybe the dragons the knights went to fight where in fact dinosaurs. This is supported I believe by the fact that scientists find soft tissue in bone marrows of dinosaur bones. Which, suggests a very young age of the dinosaurs. So, It is clear at least to me that science supports what Job writes.
Leviathan - Is a Sea Dinosaur, "Can anyone capture it by its eyes, or pierce his nose with hooks? Can you pull in Leviathan with a hook? Will he make many supplications to you, or speak softly . to you? Will he make a covenant with you, so you can take him as a slave forever? Can you play with him like a bird, or put him on a leash for your girls? Will traders barter for him? Will they divide him among the merchants? Can you fill his hide with harpoons or his head with fishing spears? If you lay your hands on him-- you will remember the battle and never do it again! See, his hope is wrong, he is laid low, even the sight of him. Is he not fierce when he is roused? Who then is able to stand before Me? Who has confronted Me that I should repay? Everything under heaven belongs to Me. I will not keep silent about his limbs, or his might or the grace of his arrangement. Who can strip off his outer garment? Who can penetrate his double armor? Who can open the doors of his face, ringed with fearsome teeth? His rows of shields are his pride, shut up closely as with tight seal; each so close to the next, that no air can pass between. They are joined one to another; they clasp each other and cannot be separated. He sneezes out flashes of light; his eyes are like the eyelids of dawn. Out of his mouth go flames, sparks of fire shoot out. Smoke pours from his nostrils, as a boiling pot over burning reeds. His breath sets coals ablaze and flames dart from his mouth. Strength resides in his neck; dismay runs before him. The folds of his flesh are tightly joined; they are firm on him, immovable. His heart is hard as rock, hard as a lower millstone. When he rises up, the mighty are afraid; at his crashing they retreat. A sword that reaches him has no effect-- nor with a spear, dart, or javelin. He regards irons straw, bronze as rotten wood. Arrows do not make him flee; sling stones become like chaff to him. A club is regarded as stubble; he laughs at the rattling of a lance. His undersides are jagged potsherds, leaving a trail like a threshing sledge in mud. He makes the deep boil like a cauldron and stirs up the sea like a pot of ointment. He leaves a shining wake behind him; one would think the deep had white hair. Nothing on dry land is his equal-- a creature without fear." (Job 40: 24 - 41:25) TLV.
Conclusion:
There are many other areas we can discuss; such as the dispersement at Babel. We can include ancient cultures that validate this such as China and the origin of the Chinese language which is based on the flood, original sin, dispersement. I will save this for a later blog. That is a great study as well.
I think if you consider what I have presented that it really makes things a lot more clear then the solution that the evolutionist gives for the "ages" and the age of the earth, and the "ice age"....
