Miracles?! Do they really exist?
The question at hand is, "do miracles really exist? Now in this blog I will share one of the many miracles that God has done in my life. Every time God has worked whether small or large, to me it was made clear that it was outside the realm of the "natural." If you are an "unbeliever" then may this be an introduction to the amazing power of God through Christ Jesus.
* The image above is the cover to my book that soon will be published. I have worked for over twenty years on this book. It covers small everyday miracles to large life changing ones...but in all things God works through "faith."
The biggest exercise of "faith", is the faith step we take to accept salvation in Jesus. If we can take that step of faith then how much better the beauty of faith in our journey of life. Almost daily God gives miracles into my life..but you have to know where to look. We have to expect them, we need to be in His word, living the way Christ lived ..but if you live the way the world allowing sinfulness to guide your steps than how can you see God work?
One miracle in faith God has done in my life is what I would consider to me a moderate miracle. By that I mean, a small one would clearly be God, but we might not give God credit. A large one is life changing, and a moderate one is one that we do acknowledge God, but soon forget. The miracle that I am going to share happened back in 2010. The girls and I were living in upstate PA. I was going to take my daughter to "horse camp" down in to lower part of the state, a drive through the state park, beautiful, but long and almost no gas stops...so you fill up before you leave and before you return, at least in the 4x4 truck that I had at the time. I had a friend go with me to take my daughter to camp. We filled up before we left, got down a little late but got her signed in found her dorm room, and we headed back. About half way back as we winded through the state park roads, in total darkness and absolutely no cell service we noticed that the truck was on empty. Now mind you my truck only goes about ten miles once hitting empty. My friend and I started to pray, we drove past a few gas stations but all were closed. So, just started to pray harder, just so that we could start to smell fumes...truck was sputtering, and if we stopped we would have had a long night ahead of us. But we were praying and singing having a good time. We drove for another hour arrived into our town, and as we pulled into the gas station the truck died.
'And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him
must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.'

Clearly a Miracle
Clearly a miracle had occurred, We were super excited about what God just did for us. We should have been stressed out about the possibility of what should have happened. But we were actually excited about what God was going to do...we had "faith." This was clearly a miracle from God, but one that time might have erased. Hebrews 11:6 states that God rewards those who sincerely seek Him.
Conclusion
When I should had a lot of stress, fear, you name it...instead I had faith without wavering
that God was going to take care of us, and He did. If yo do not believe in God, but secretly
want miracles in your life, he start by reading John 3:16, "for God so loved the world that
He gave His only son, that whosoever believes in Him should never die but have eternal live."
If you are a Christian and you just haven't experienced miracles in your life, you can! In my
book I will discuss many of the miracles that God has done in my life. To include some large
ones, like when I died in the military, and the journey that took place that defied what all the
doctors said. A journal so you can track miracles in your own life..and hopefully you will grow
in your faith as well.
1Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. 2Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.
3By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. (Hebrew 11:1-3)
'And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him
must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.'
